David Warren, Regional General Manager - Europe

David Warren is an executive with 20 years’ experience in discerning and seizing strategic opportunity, specifically skilled in general management and product/market development.  With an MBA from Harvard and a Certificate in Advanced Japanese Studies from Stanford’s Inter-University Center, David is passionate about businesses that make a difference in human lives.

David received his Bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University, in Japanese, and formerly served as Vice President and Manager in the International Business Promotion and Corporate & Public Affairs departments, at Sumitomo Trust & Banking Company.  He then served as Founder and President of Capital Services International/The Universal Fund, where he established an investment and consulting boutique to bring global resources to local needs. Later, David worked as the CFO and SVP of New Product and Market Development at The Lifelike Company, where he directed the development of new products, international markets, and e-commerce channels. Most recently, David worked as President and Founder of Enterprise Development International, a consultancy facilitating product, market, and value expansion for global companies by carefully researching and proving strategic opportunities, tailoring solutions, and partnering in implementation.  This work included “customer voice” and “next level” strategy facilitation services to align company and customer interests for powerful differentiation.

Fluent in Japanese and French, with conversational Spanish, David is a hard-working team player who delivers to high standards of quality and integrity. He is skilled at managing businesses across languages and cultures, and is highly effective at deal analysis, structuring, and marketing, with experience as both seller and buyer, banker and CFO, consultant and CEO.
