Originally hired to be the finance manager, Dan now serves as Vice President over Global Marketing Plan, Compliance, and Commissions and as the Regional General Manager over China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. He has been involved at many levels with TNI, enabling him to know all aspects of the business. With this specialized knowledge, Dan is able to lead at TNI with confidence and passion.
A native of China, Dan came to the United States in 1991. He received his Master of Science in Accounting from Utah State University. Dan appreciates being familiar with both Eastern and Western cultures and languages and how it facilitates his ability to communicate with different team members. Other positions he has held at TNI include director and managing director over Global commissions, Chairman of Asia Pacific Committee, and Managing Director of Global Coordination and sales promotion.
One of his greatest accomplishments at TNI has been strategically opening China—viewed as the most difficult market with the most potential. Dan began working with the Chinese market long before the country opened for business. He was involved in the strategic planning stages and was able to see the process through from inception to completion. Dan was instrumental in setting up the manufacturing plant, the office, and stores in the area by facilitating communication with government officials and the media. In his position, Dan travels frequently and is grateful for the support of his wife and their two children.
