Josh Guinness
Professional Surfer
Josh Guinness is involved in almost every aspect of surfing in New Zealand. He competes in New Zealand, Australia, and Hawaii, operates a chain of surf stores in New Zealand, gives the twice-daily surf report on a popular New Zealand radio station, and regularly acts as a surfing commentator—sometimes commentating on the same events in which he is competing! He also writes a weekly surf report column in the Bay of Plenty Times newspaper. Talk about an all-round surfing professional!
Guinness explains the demands of his work: “On competition days, my needs cover all aspects of energy, alertness, stamina, concentration, and staying power. During the course of my day I will start by telling the state what the surf is doing, then set up the contest arena. Then I commentate and compete round after round, sometimes in up to three divisions, for nine or ten hours with no chance of a timeout. Then I do the prize giving.
“Thanks to TAHITIAN NONI® Juice, I don’t run out of energy when I need it and I can really maintain my focus. This juice has enhanced my life in so many areas—I’m telling everyone! Thank you, Tahitian Noni International!”
Guinness was recently awarded a gold medal at the Hang Ten Summer Series in New Zealand for the open Malibu board division. Many consider him one of New Zealand’s top surfing experts and we’re glad he’s now on the Tahitian Noni Team.
