Australian Surf Life Saving and Paddle Board Champion

Bruce Taylor is one of Australia’s most competitive and dominant athletes of the country’s Surf Life Saving movement. Surf Life Saving consists of many events, such as surf swimming, sand running, mock rescues, and more, and Taylor dominates many of them. He is the current reigning Australian champion in the open men’s board race event and holds the record for the most Queensland State titles won in this same event. He’s also involved in the sport as a coach, leading the North Burleigh Surf Life Saving club to frequent victory.
