In September 2006 Black Tom won the prestigious Kalgoorlie Cup with an audience of over 15,000 people. He is currently preparing to race in the Melbourne Cup, and trainer Frank Maynard believes that Tahitian Noni™ Equine Essentials™ has and will continue to play a large role in the success of his horses. 

“We at Frank Maynard Racing Stables have been using Tahitian Noni Equine Essentials for a number of months. Our recent success has been with Black Tom, the 2006 Perth Cup winner over 3,200 meters. Black has been using Equine Essentials since the initial start phase.”

Maynard reports that Black Tom seems to enjoy the taste of Equine Essentials, which he receives twice daily. He also believes that noni has improved Black Tom’s lovely nature, a quality that is critical in a long distance racehorse. He states, “We were able to maintain a punishing work load to meet the required fitness level for this type of racing.”

“During our latest races, Black Tom finished his races very well, twice winning by a margin of 6 lengths with plenty of gas left in the tank. He pulled up remarkably well after all of his starts with blood tests showing little or no muscle fatigue. The vitamin E in Equine Essentials contributed to these results. When it’s added to their feed they lick their bin out, which is very important after racing. When we run out, all my team hears from me is ‘Get some more noni!’”
