Liz Pinkston

Liz Pinkston

Liz Pinkston

WNFR Barrel Racing Qualifier

Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, Liz gets her deep rodeo roots from her parents Ralph and Ann Bradford. Ralph was a PRCA bull rider and raised Liz and her brother Clint in the world of youth rodeos. Liz hit the Texas Youth Rodeo Circuit, attended some AJRA rodeos, and Texas high school rodeos.

After high school she attended Howard Junior College in Big Spring, Texas where she would college rodeo for a short period before returning home to pursue a degree in interior design. Joining the PRCA in 1986, Liz continued to rodeo as a hobby with some success, but it wasn’t until 1999 and after she found her number one mount (Speedy Doc Holiday) that she decided to take things more seriously.

After finding Doc, Liz entered her home town rodeo in San Antonio to win second only behind the great duo of Janet and Bo. She finished 20th in the 1999 world standings. In 2001 Doc tore a suspensory tendon, but after a long rest Liz was able to bring Doc back to full competition. With the support of two great back-up horses (Project Lightning and High on Home), great friends, and family support, Liz won two Pace Picante titles in route to her first Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in 2004. Liz currently sits in 4th place in the world, 2nd place in the Summer Tour, and 2nd overall place in the overall tour standings. If things continue on this path, she has a great chance at the National Finals Rodeo and a possible chance at a world title!

Liz now gives TAHITIAN NONI™ Equine Essentials™ to all her horses as she recognizes the nutritional benefits it gives them. "Equine Essentials is a critical part of my training, conditioning, and competing programs, and I highly recommend the products to people who are serious about their equine partners’ health and performance.”
