Brooke Niles
AVP Sand Volleyball
Brooke Niles is a 24-year-old professional beach volleyball player, and was an assistant volleyball coach at UC Santa Barbara last year. She is one of the most versatile players in Gaucho history and continued to bring her unrivaled competitiveness and leadership qualities to the program. She graduated in 2003 from UCSB with a degree in law and society and is now involved with all facets of running a high-profile Division I program. Niles drinks TAHITIAN NONI® Juice as part of her strict training regimen.
"I have been drinking TAHITIAN NONI® Juice since November 2004 and have been amazed by the results. I was introduced to TAHITIAN NONI Juice during a volleyball road trip by Kathy Gregory, who graciously offered me the last of her bottle. TAHITIAN NONI Juice has become an essential part of my regimen due to all of the traveling, early morning training sessions, and long days at tournaments. I feel that drinking this wonderful juice gives me that extra edge to stay healthy all the time! I have noticed that it also helps with exercise recovery and fatigue. I am able to workout twice as long and twice as hard and not feel the effects of it the next day!
"TAHITIAN NONI Juice has helped me make great strides on the AVP tour and is one of the most important aspects of my training."
“We just got back from a three day tournament in Hermosa Beach. This was a huge tournament. It was double points and Hermosa Beach is one of professional volleyball’s ‘Mecca’s’.
“We placed fifth in the tournament, which is my highest finish so far. I can honestly say that this year I have dedicated myself to nutrition (TAHITIAN NONI Juice) and conditioning and am playing my best volleyball ever!
“Thank you for the TAHITIAN NONI Juice travel packs. They worked great at the tournaments and other players saw them and wanted some info on TAHITIAN NONI Juice. Thank you, Tahitian Noni International!”
Niles put an exclamation mark on her career by earning AVCA Third Team All-American recognition in 2002. As Santa Barbara’s starting setter and a team co-captain, Niles ranked third nationally with 13.95 assists per game, while her 1,437 total helpers were the seventh-most ever in a single season in school history. A three-time All-Big West honoree, she was named the conference freshman of the year in 1999 while primarily playing outside hitter. Niles saw action at every position except middle blocker during her collegiate career. Her 1,323 career digs rank seventh all-time at UCSB.
She has since taken her game to the sand, reaching a high ranking of number 9 on the AVP Tour in 2004. As a coach, Niles guided the Santa Barbara Volleyball Club's traveling team of 16-year-old girls in 2003 after spending two years with the Santa Ynez Volleyball Club. She also coordinates an elite-level beach volleyball summer camp for youth players, held on the UCSB campus.
