Patrick Shannahan

Patrick Shannahan

National Champion Border Collie Trainer

Patrick Shannahan has been a Border Collie enthusiast for 25 years. He currently lives on a small farm in Caldwell, Idaho where he raises Katahdin hair sheep and Border Collies. According to Patrick, his greatest accomplishment to date has been winning the Border Collie National Finals. In 2005, Patrick and his dog, Riggs, were on the U.S.A. team that went to the World Sheepdog Trial in Tullamore, Ireland. He has also served as director of the USBCHA and the American Border Collie Association.

“Having a sound, focused dog is a necessity to any of us that want to participate in training and sports. Canine Essentials™ has helped my dogs by increasing their stamina and focus and by reducing their recovery time after long workouts. I use Canine Essentials with all the dogs that I compete with.

“When the dogs started on Canine Essentials, the first thing I noticed was their coats and skin. They had a sheen that I hadn’t noticed before. I also noticed that the dogs were very fresh and focused on the second day of competition. They weren’t tired or worn out after a difficult first round of trials.

“After seeing the results that my dogs got with Canine Essentials, I started drinking TAHITIAN NONI® Juice myself. I have stayed healthy and felt great!”

Patrick graduated with a degree in Animal Science from the University of Idaho and has continued that line of study in his daily dog training and sheep herding. He enjoys custom-training dogs, judging canine competitions, and giving training seminars to livestock and herding experts.
