Mary Anne Rapp

Mary Anne Rapp

National Cutting Horse Non-Pro Hall of Fame

Mary Ann Rapp is one of the leading non-professionals in the National Cutting Horse Association (NCHA). She entered the NCHA Non-Pro Hall of Fame in 1998, with earnings exceeding $2 million. Her and her husband, Phil, own Rapp Ranch, proud home of the second-highest producing mare in the cutting horse business, Playboys Ruby. The Rapps have 10 mares total, and the ranch produces between 20–25 foals yearly, many of which go on to be champions.

Rapp first experienced Tahitian Noni® products in the spring of 2004 at the PCCHA Derby. She noticed her immune system was strengthened and began drinking TAHITIAN NONI® Juice every day. She also began giving all of her horses Equine Essentials™ Flex.

“We switched all of the horses to Equine Essentials™ Flex because they can all use the benefits it provides. I am a firm believer in TAHITIAN NONI Juice and Equine Essentials Flex. I share the benefits—both for humans and horses—to anybody that will listen. I am a complete supporter of TAHITIAN NONI products.”

Rapp has long relied on healthy horses to help her succeed. In 2001, she qualified four horses in the Non-Pro Super Stakes finals in 2001. In 2002 she won the Non-Pro Futurity on a horse named Little Janey Lena, a daughter of Playboys Ruby. Mary Ann won by a significant margin, breaking the current record with a 228 point score. She also won the Non-Pro Super Stakes Classic in 2003 on Amanda Stargun. In 2004 she came out on top at the PCCHA Cutting Stakes on her horse Tapt Twice.

Mary Ann has been married to Phil, a pro-champion in the NCHA, since 1994. They have a five-year-old son named Ryan, and a new daughter named Emma Grace. Emma received her name when her arrival was full of surprises and close-calls; Mary Ann says, “It is only by the grace of God that she survived.” She’s grateful for the help TAHITIAN NONI® Juice gave her immune system as she recovered from the difficult delivery. Mary Ann has started riding again and plans to compete again very soon.
