Linda Algotsson
Gold Medalist in World Cup Finals
Linda Algotsson started to ride before she could walk. She started to ride on her parents’ farm and started to compete as early as 12 years old. When she was 16 she started to compete in eventing, and the next year she won the Nordic Championship! Her progress continued as well as her awards; when she was 18, she won the European Championships for young riders, and since then she has earned five more European Championships medals. Since 1989 she has been one of the best in the National Team in Sweden and has participated in the Olympic Summer Games twice—Atlanta 1996 and Athens 2004. Her best standing is seventh place with her horse, Lafayett.
Linda has two individual European Championship silver medals, four Swedish Championship gold medals, and many victories in top international competitions. As her biggest achievement, Linda counts her two victories in the 2003 and 2004 World Cup Finals.
A big goal for Linda in 2007 is the toughest and hardest eventing competition of the year, Badminton. Another goal is to compete in the European Championship in Rome. The Swedish Team will also participate in the Summer Olympics in Beijing 2008.
Eventing is a tough sport, and Linda credits TAHITIAN NONI® Juice and Tahitian Noni® Equine Essentials™.
”I like to train my horses in a lot of different ways, and I try to progress against perfectionism on the trainings in order to be at our best when it comes to competition. Nothing can be left behind; everything needs to be perfect before I am completely satisfied. Eventing is a sport where the speed and tense put a lot of pressure on the horse and the rider, both mentally and physically. The sport has developed very much, and the margins between winning and losing are very small. Today you need to be very accurate in dressage and jumping, but at the same time, courage, good balance, and endurance are also important. You need to be able to calculate the speed and the risks contra slower tempo and safety. You need to work hard for a long time in order to reach success in eventing today.
Thanks to TAHITIAN NONI Juice, which is a part of my daily training, I can recover quicker after a hard training and tough competition. I have been drinking TAHITIAN NONI Juice and given my horses Equine Essentials since 2005, and I feel a lot more energetic! My horses recover quicker after their training and competitions as well. I can strongly recommend Equine Essentials.”
