Joe Beaver
Team and Tie-Down Roper Champion
Inducted into the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame in 2002, Joe Beaver is a nationally renowned team and tie-down roper. He is the PRCA all-time career earnings leader with earnings exceeding over $2.5 million through 2005.
Joe joined the PRCA in 1985, and since then he has won eight world titles: two as the World Champion All-Around Cowboy, and the other six as the World Champion Tie-Down roper. He holds 20 Wrangler NFR Qualifications, one Pace Picante Series title, and nine Pace Picante Series qualifications.
Joe can testify to the positive effects of Equine Essentials. “Since I began feeding Equine Essentials to my horses, I’ve noticed a remarkable difference in their body soreness and overall appearance. They have great coats and muscle tone, and they are very sound. Turbo, the head horse I rode at the National Finals Rodeo in 2006, has been my number one horse for five years; he is 17 years old so the miles and runs were catching up to him. After a few weeks of the Equine Essentials, his overall soreness was gone. He performed outstanding over the 10 long days at the Rodeo. He is now as sound as a young horse this year. In addition, I usually have trouble keeping a calf horse performing at its best in Las Vegas for 10 days, but Equine Essentials kept Murphy, my calf roping horse, from getting sore.”
Joe helped call the action during the 2005 Wrangler NFR broadcast on ESPN and ESPN2. His favorite hobby is to hold roping schools, and he owns three horses: Legacy, 11; Scooby Doo, 24; and Jet, 16.
