Parkinson Family
Australian Rodeo Champions
The Parkinsons have made rodeo competition a family affair. Steve, Dianne, and their three children are all avid competitors, bringing home an outstanding number of national titles. They follow the Australian Eastern Rodeo Circuit every weekend, as well as breed and train horses.
The Parkinson family began giving Equine Formula to their tired and irritable horse “Cut ’Em Jet” in December 2004. In no time at all, the Parkinson family noticed a turnaround in the horse’s attitude and performance as he began a steady winning streak. At the end of January 2005, “Cut ’Em Jet” was awarded highest earning horse at the National Rodeo Championships held in Tamworth.
Dianne says, “To our family, Equine Formula is an essential part of being on the road every weekend. Rodeo competition is a very costly hobby and you have to have faith and confidence in your horses. Equine Formula gives us that confidence.”
Steve Parkinson has claimed 28 titles, Diane (better known as LuLu) has claimed 21, and their three children—Candice, 16, Blayne, 14, and Ty, 13—all compete as well.
Ending 2005 with Candice winning Australian Junior Champion, the family’s most recent major wins came in January this year at the Inner Circle Rum National Finals Rodeo at Tamworth, where Steve claimed the National Title in the Rope and Tie competition, and Team Roping Header with roping partner Lance Hutton. Meanwhile, Diane won the National Breakaway Roping title.
The Parkinsons follow the Australian Eastern Rodeo Circuit every weekend, loading up a huge van that can accommodate the family and 13 horses. At their home in Muswellbrook, the Parkinsons breed and train horses, while Dianne conducts training clinics and operates a small retail business.
They are ecstatic at the benefits of Equine Formula, and look forward to much success in 2006!
