Steeped in Tradition

Superb Steeping
Creating the perfect cup of tea is an art. Follow these simple steps and you'll have savory drink perfect for enjoying with others.

1. The first step is to use pure, fresh water that is free from any other tastes or additives. Good quality water is essential for making a good cup of tea.

2. Water temperature is another vital component of the perfect "cuppa", and incorrect temperature is the most common tea-making mistake. Brew your tea too hot and your tea will become bitter. Conversely, if the water is not hot enough, the tea will lose some of its flavor. The correct temperature is between 190–200 degrees Fahrenheit (just under a boil). This will ensure full flavor release and preservation.

3. The final aspect to a triumphant tea experience is brew time. Four to five minutes of steeping will unleash the full flavor potential of your leaves and result in a delightfully delicious cup of tea. Enjoy!

Tea has benefited mankind for millennia with its exquisite flavor and healthful attributes. Similarly, the noni leaf has been revered for ages because of its beneficial properties. The time has arrived for two ancient traditions to become one.

"Come along inside...we'll see if tea and buns can make the world a better place." This saying from the popular children's book The Wind in the Willows might be how you feel when you taste the new delectable tea blends from Tahitian Noni International's Tahitea™ line of gourmet teas. But it's not just the delicate taste that inspires TNI to brew the perfect cup of tea—it's the traditions, health benefits, and overall relaxing mood tea brings into our lives. Taking a break for tea helps us slow down, reflect, and stop the hurried pace of life for a moment.

It’s Tradition
Ancient Chinese legend says the first cup of tea was produced in 2737 B.C., when the leaves of a black tea shrub haphazardly fell into the boiling water of Emperor Shen Nung, the father of Chinese medicine. Since that day, people in ancient times believed that tea was beneficial in treating various ailments, calming the nerves, and serving as a centerpiece for social gatherings all over the world, from China and India to Europe and beyond.

At Tahitian Noni International, we also revel in ancient traditions and rituals. Whether you're new to Tahitian Noni® products or you've been using them for years, you know that our company is based on the traditions of Tahiti. Those traditions are family, sharing, connecting, and of course, the benefits of the beloved noni plant. Used for thousands of years by the people of Tahiti, the fruit, leaves, and seeds of the noni plant are cherished and respected by Tahitians for their health promoting properties.

Looking at the ancient rituals of tea and the traditional uses of the noni leaf, it seems only natural to combine the two elements. This combination has resulted in a delicious, healthy, gourmet line of teas—Tahitea. Now the tradition of health, tea, and noni are available to the world!

Health Benefits
There's so much more to tea than just feeling relaxed and socializing with good friends. Studies that support health benefits of drinking tea keep filling the headlines. Tea contains high levels of antioxidants—polyphenols, flavonoids, and catechins, to name a few—all of which take on the "free radicals" in the body and prevent them from harming healthy cells. Antioxidants are ready and waiting to protect. The combination of tea leaves and noni leaves brings the perfect cup of tea right to your family’s table.

So whether it's during an afternoon break or after a day of shopping, relax your mind and protect your body with a cup of Tahitea gourmet teas. Tea really can make the world a better place.

The Diva Dishes
Tahiti Tradewinds invites Tahitian Noni International's very own tea diva, Erika Thayer, to enthuse about her beloved beverage and share the secrets of what makes Tahitea products the best in the industry.

Authentic Founders Formula
I am proud to say that this is the only 100% noni leaf tea in the world. It has a delicate, subtle taste that is made sublime by the delicate roasting process each leaf goes through. This fabulous tea is truly the purest form of the noni leaf available.

Calming Tahitian Serenity
My personal favorite. (For the moment, at least—it's always changing!) This is one of the most visually striking teas you will ever try; it's as beautiful to look at as it is to drink. Your senses are tapped by the soothing aromatherapy provided by powerful herbs such as chamomile, lavender, and hibiscus. Heavenly!

Tahitian Earl Grey
This is a very classic, traditional tea. The finest bergamot orange extract on the planet—specially harvested for us in Asia—adds the perfect hint of citrus that completes the Earl Grey experience. It's wonderful that this English favorite is now ready to be enjoyed around the world.

Spiced Chai
I adore this exotic combination of sweet and spicy. We've blended ginger, cardamom, cinnamon, clove, and white pepper with powdered noni leaf tea to create a treat fit for a sultan. This is the only chai tea in the world with the added health benefits of the noni leaf. The perfect delicacy!

Noni Lemon Iced Tea
Half lemonade, half noni leaf tea—all perfection. We wanted this to taste more like fresh-squeezed lemonade than any other product in the industry, but still maintain the convenience of an instant beverage. I think that we succeeded, and I am thrilled with this surprisingly brisk, tart drink.
