TAHITIAN NONI INTERNATIONAL APPOINTS PHILIP WONG TO GENERAL MANAGER OF CHINA OPERATIONS
Tahitian Noni International, developer and exclusive provider of the internationally acclaimed TAHITIAN NONI® Juice, has appointed Philip Wong as the new general manager of the company’s China operations. Wong has more than 12 years of experience in international management, operations, business development, sales, and marketing and has a proven track-record of establishing and managing multi-national companies.
“We believe there is a significant potential in China – a dynamic market with 1.3 billion people,” said Kelly Olsen, President of Tahitian Noni International. “Philip Wong’s familiarity with sales, international operations, government relations, and consumer products will help us gain solid market share and considerable revenue in China. Philip Wong was born in Canton, China, raised in Hong Kong, and educated in the U.S. He speaks fluent English, Mandarin, Cantonese, and other Chinese dialects, and has a strong understanding of marketing and operations in the Greater China market.
After earning a B.A. from Utah State University in business information systems, Philip Wong worked as the Director of Asia Pacific sales and marketing for a U.S.-based computer simulation company in China, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines for nearly 5 years. Philip has also helped two other Utah-based companies set up and manage sales and systems in the Taiwan, Hong Kong, Korea, Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, and New Zealand markets. He most recently served as the General Manager for a U.S.-based company for three years in Taiwan.
