President of French Polynesia Visits Tahitian Noni International Annual Conference in Hollywood

President Oscar Temaru Also Makes First Utah Visit

PROVO, UTAH, March 16, 2006 – The President of French Polynesia, Oscar Temaru, made an historic visit to the annual International Leadership Conference of Tahitian Noni International in Hollywood, California.  This was the first appearance that the President of French Polynesia made at the annual event.  Speaking before a crowd of more than 6,700 at Universal Studio’s Gibson Amphitheater, he expressed his gratitude for all that Tahitian Noni International and its thousands of Independent Product Consultants has done for his people and the country. 

“Ten years ago, the value of the noni fruit was unknown in French Polynesia,” stated Kelly Olsen, President of Tahitian Noni International.  “Now, it is the number one agricultural export of that country.  We have helped to create a new industry for the people of French Polynesia and it was wonderful to have their president here to speak to our people for the first time.”

After speaking at the International Leadership Conference, President Temaru visited Tahitian Noni International’s corporate headquarters in Provo, Utah, as well as the warehouse and bottling plant in American Fork, Utah.  The American Fork facility also houses the largest noni-based research facility in the world.  This was the first visit by President Temaru to Utah and to Tahitian Noni International, the leader in the sales of noni products around the world.
