Youichi Osada

Youichi Osada thought that he’d be playing soccer all his life. He began the sport in 5th grade and later played in the inter–high school Yamanashi prefecture championship. He also earned 8th place in the National Sports Festival and earned a spot with the Tokyo adult league, a team that played in games such as the Japan–North Korea Goodwill Games.

However, Mr. Osada began a new career after fracturing his right ankle at the age of 27. He learned all about bodybuilding during his rehabilitation and has been participating in the event ever since. He also manages a construction company. Osada Builder Co. Ltd.

2003 Won 6th place (75 kg class) in Tokyo Bodybuilding Tournament.
2004 Won 2nd place (over 75 kg class) in Tokyo Classification Bodybuilding Tournament.
2005 Won 1st place (over 75 kg class) in Tokyo Classification Bodybuilding Tournament
2006 Won 1st place (over 75 kg class) in Kanto Classification Bodybuilding Tournament.
Won 2nd place in Japan Adult (working people) Bodybuilding Tournament.
2007 Won 7th place in Japan Adult (working people) Bodybuilding Tournament.

Future Schedule & Objectives
In 2009, Mr. Osada is scheduled to participate in the Kanto Bodybuilding Tournament, Eastern Japan Open Bodybuilding Tournament, and Japan Adult Bodybuilding Tournament. His future objective is to rank in the top group in tournaments including Japan Classification Bodybuilding Tournament (tournament for Japan representative selection) and also to be selected as a member of representative bodybuilders for the Asia Championship. He would also like to participate in the Olympic Games, once bodybuilding is recognized as an official sport.
